World Peace

Today for some reason I have been more disturbed that the world seems to be in chaos. Of course, it could be because I can hear and see about every shooting or crime almost instantly now. It is starting to really hurt my heart. We have to do something. Maybe, we can not stop all of it but at least we can love in our own hearts. Tell someone you love them today and ask them to tell one person and keep passing the love.

Break The Habit

We are always "fine." But then we talk about this problem and that problem. Maybe it should go more like this. "How are you doing today?" "I'm good, my left knee doesn't hurt today." Or "Great, I just had a wonderful breakfast.  How about you?"  Wouldn't that surprise people and make them think before just answering "fine" back at you? We should do all we can to remember what is great about our lives and share that with the world. Positive always beats negative when it comes to bringing out your joy.

Let's all take the positivity pledge. There is so much negativity and violence in the world right now. Once several years ago a group of people got together and meditated on world peace. It was recorded that on that day violence across the world was reduced. Don't think you are alone and you have no effect. Every positive statement breeds more positivity. Say the pledge to yourself each morning and then live it.

Last week brought challenges for me and with it some anger that I wish to remove. So this week we will focus everyday on conquering anger and turning it into a positive. It is hard to show love and compassion in the face of a feeling of injustice. However, anger only causes pain within the person who has it.
